About Me

I am a board-certified Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and psychotherapist based in New Jersey. I hold a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and maintain a private practice in downtown Jersey City. In addition to maintaining a private practice in downtown Jersey City, I provide psychiatric emergency screening and crisis intervention for Hudson County.

My clinical focus centers on helping individuals reduce emotional and mental suffering examining what is actually driving one's difficulties, where it came from, and what has kept it in place.

My approach is rooted in psychodynamic principles, yet I remain flexible and responsive to the needs of each client. Rather than relying on a single technique or a formulaic structure, my therapeutic work is shaped by client goals and what is brought in for discussion. I invite clients to speak openly and without self-censorship to facilitate the exploration of mental life.

I work with adults and couples. With individuals, therapy often focuses on examining the underlying influences that shape one’s experiences before helping an individual take action. In couples counseling, I help partners slow things down, address conflict, repair disconnection, and better understand each other's needs.

After more than a decade in the business world, I chose to realign my life in order to pursue work that felt meaningful and aligned with my values. Outside of my professional life, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, reading, and practicing Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.
